About Lexi

My interest in mathematics began with a fascination for patterns, calculations, and logical reasoning. This passion inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics and Mathematics and begin helping students strengthen their analytical skills. Over the past 5 years, I have guided learners through mathematical concepts using patient teaching and structured explanation. I enjoy simplifying difficult topics into clear steps that help students feel more confident during lessons. Watching students improve their reasoning abilities and overcome mathematical fear continues motivating me as a tutor. My teaching philosophy focuses on understanding, consistency, and supportive learning instead of memorization alone. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas freely.

Throughout my teaching journey, I have worked with students preparing for school coursework, university studies, and competitive examinations. These experiences have helped me understand the importance of flexibility and patience when supporting different learning styles. I use guided examples, visual methods, and structured practice activities to help students progress steadily without feeling overwhelmed. I also encourage learners to explain their reasoning clearly because communication strengthens mathematical understanding. Students often appreciate my calm teaching style because it helps them remain focused and motivated during lessons.
