About Ross Christian
With more than eight years of experience teaching Mathematics, I am committed to helping students build both competence and confidence in quantitative subjects. I hold a Master of Arts in Education major in Mathematics and am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Applied Statistics. My academic background, combined with years of classroom experience, has equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to support learners with diverse abilities, learning styles, and educational goals.
As an educator, I believe that every student can succeed when provided with clear explanations, proper guidance, and a supportive learning environment. I strive to make lessons engaging, organized, and tailored to each student's needs. Rather than focusing solely on finding the correct answer, I help students understand the concepts and reasoning behind each solution, enabling them to develop strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills that extend beyond the classroom.

I believe that effective learning happens when complex concepts are explained in a simple, practical, and engaging manner. As a Mathematics instructor with more than eight years of teaching experience and a graduate of a Master of Arts in Education major in Mathematics, I combine strong subject expertise with learner-centered teaching strategies. I am also currently pursuing a Master's degree in Applied Statistics, which allows me to integrate both theoretical and applied perspectives into my lessons.
Teaching Method and Techniques
My teaching approach focuses on conceptual understanding rather than memorization. I begin by assessing the student's current knowledge and learning needs, then tailor my explanations and activities accordingly. I use:
