About Talia
My interest in mathematics started with a strong curiosity about numbers and patterns. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, where I developed a solid understanding of concepts and problem-solving methods. Over the past 9 years, I have worked with students from different backgrounds, helping them overcome difficulties and gain clarity. Teaching maths allows me to support students in building confidence and understanding.
My teaching style is simple, patient, and adaptable. I understand that each student learns at a different pace, so I adjust my teaching methods accordingly. I focus on building strong basics, clear explanation, and regular practice. I also create a comfortable environment where students feel free to ask questions without hesitation. This helps them stay motivated and engaged in their learning journey.
Outside teaching, I continue solving problems and exploring new methods in mathematics. This helps me improve my teaching and bring fresh ideas into lessons. Teaching maths is meaningful to me because I see students grow from confusion to clarity. Helping them develop confidence, improve their performance, and believe in their ability to solve problems is something I truly value, and I am dedicated to supporting their long-term academic success.

My maths lessons focus on building strong understanding through clear explanation and structured learning. I guide students through important topics like algebra, geometry, arithmetic, and basic calculus using simple step-by-step methods. I do not encourage memorisation without understanding. Instead, I help students see the logic behind every concept so they can solve problems with confidence. Each lesson includes examples, guided practice, and clear explanation to make learning easy and effective. This helps students develop clarity and reduce confusion.
Lessons are designed based on each student’s level and pace of learning. Beginners start with number basics, simple operations, and foundational concepts. Intermediate learners focus on solving equations, applying formulae, and improving accuracy. Advanced students work on complex problem solving, logical reasoning, and exam preparation strategies. I provide regular practice, corrections, and revision support so that students can improve steadily. This structured approach helps them build confidence step by step.
Maths helps students improve logical thinking, accuracy, and problem-solving ability. As they understand concepts better, they become more confident in handling challenges. Many students who once found maths difficult begin to enjoy it as they see their progress. My goal is to make maths simple, clear, and meaningful. I want students to develop confidence in their thinking, approach problems calmly, and build skills that will help them succeed both in academics and in real-life situations where logical thinking is important.
