About Dawood

Hi, I'm Dawood. Nice to see you've read my Ad. Let me introduce myself. I'm a current Undergrad, studying Accounting with a top 4 firm. I have a passion for maths, computing, mechanics, and so much more. I have 2 years' experience being a personal tutor, and 1 year's experience being a large group tutor. I have tutored many students for both maths and computer science. My favourite part of maths would have to be Calculus, which I really enjoy teaching. I am an approachable person, and will help you not just within your tuition sessions, but also during other times. Perhaps you came across a question in class, or a difficult concept in a textbook; send me a picture of it and you will have an explanation/answer via email within 24 hours, plus an in-depth run through within the sessions. My aim as a tutor is to inspire confidence in you, as students, to solve difficult mathematical problems you may face in your exams or class worksheets, and to help you find answers using correct mathematical methods, as well as helping you understand where certain rules/concepts come from and how we can use them in the real world. I also like to show you some cool mathematical tricks from time to time which you will find super useful for both exams and mathematical application!

About the lesson

My lessons follow the 3 Es principle: engaging, easy to follow, and enjoyable. I try to make my lessons as fun as possible, and tailor them to how you want them to be! Want to go as fast as Lewis Hamilton? Or maybe you want to take the slow approach? No problem. Your lessons will be relaxed and at your own pace! I feel it is better to understand something properly before learning more advanced concepts. I will help you gain a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts so that you can feel confident when you open your exam paper. Using my interactive approach, I am certain that you will get the most out of your tuition. Content and questions covered, student queries, exam examples, how to apply what you are learning in the real world, and lots and lots of fun! I share resources and worksheets on Google Classroom, and I give tests along the way if you really feel like you need them! All sessions take place online, and are based upon hours which you are available. All lessons are flexible, and there is no issue if you need to rearrange sessions (as long as you let me know a little bit in advance!) Lengths vary from 1 hour to 3 hours, depending on what type of lesson you want. Achieved A/A* in Mathematics A Level, so can tutor for A Level and GCSE maths, including GCSE further maths.
