About Harvey
I am a current student myself and as such, I understand the best approaches to learning in a fun, efficient way. I have always enjoyed teaching others and whilst at GCSE myself I held revision sessions for my year group and tutored friends. I have worked with many students and see so much potential and talent that can be brought to light and the students were refreshed by my teaching ettique and style.
I feel my fun and enthusiastic personality makes my lessons fun and engaging whilst simultaneously informative and meaningful.
I can teach at any level and can set up good habits for future study for any students wanting to progress in anything mathematical or STEM-related.

I believe that maths is something fun and engaging which is how I approach my teaching methodology, I believe students should be able to understand and see the real-world applications of their work rather than memorizing formulas and methods.
My lessons are one hour long with a significant focus on discussion and thought processes than simple memory tests.
I am a large believer in understanding material as this led to me achieving at GCSE; 9 in maths (A**), A^ in Further Maths (A**), and A in additional maths (Highest grade). Also achieving A* at maths at A-Level.
I am passionate about my subject as I am studying Mathematics at Leeds University and I believe this results in the best teaching.
I am also very sociable and mature whilst also being 19 so as I've been told I am approachable and help students feel relaxed while learning.
Moreover, I do not patronize or condescend. This is very important to me as I feel everyone learns differently and all that is truly needed is a new approach, I aim to bring out the best in my students, not repress their potential.
