About Anika
My fascination with mathematics began with curiosity about patterns, logic, and problem-solving in everyday life. I pursued an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics and Statistics, focusing on calculus, algebra, probability, and statistical analysis. Over 9 years of teaching, I have guided learners of all levels, helping them achieve clarity, competence, and confidence in mathematics. I emphasize clarity, patience, and adaptability. Lessons are structured to reinforce conceptual understanding, provide guided practice, and encourage active participation. I help learners develop independent reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills that extend beyond the classroom. Outside teaching, I stay engaged with applied mathematics, statistical modeling, and analytical research. This allows me to incorporate real-world examples into lessons. Teaching mathematics is rewarding because I witness students develop confidence, reasoning ability, and a lasting appreciation for the subject, building a foundation for lifelong learning.
