About Clara
I am a mathematics tutor with 12 years of experience and a PhD in Applied Mathematics. My interest in mathematics began with a passion for solving problems and understanding patterns. Over the years, I have helped many students improve their skills and confidence. My goal is to make mathematics simple, clear, and enjoyable for every learner.
My teaching style is structured, patient, and supportive. I focus on breaking down complex problems into simple steps so students can understand easily. I use examples, guided practice, and consistent exercises to help learners improve steadily. I also adapt my lessons based on each student’s needs and pace, ensuring a comfortable learning experience. Helping students build confidence is always my priority.
Outside teaching, I enjoy solving mathematical problems and exploring new concepts. This helps me improve my teaching methods. I feel proud when students gain confidence and begin solving problems independently. Supporting their growth and helping them develop strong mathematical skills is something I truly value, and I remain dedicated to guiding them with patience, clarity, and encouragement.

My mathematics lessons are designed to help students understand concepts clearly and solve problems with confidence. I begin with basic topics such as arithmetic, algebra, and geometry using simple explanations. Students learn how different concepts connect, which helps them apply knowledge correctly. I focus on step-by-step methods so learners can follow without confusion. This approach builds a strong foundation and reduces fear of mathematics.
As students improve, I introduce more advanced topics such as trigonometry, functions, and calculus basics. I guide learners through structured practice sessions that improve both accuracy and speed. I provide clear feedback and explain mistakes in a simple way so students can learn effectively. I support learners who need extra help and also challenge advanced students with deeper problems. Lessons are always adjusted to match each learner’s level and pace.
With regular practice, students begin to think logically and solve problems with clarity. They gain confidence in their abilities and develop a deeper understanding of mathematics. My lessons create a supportive environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions. Over time, students become more independent and motivated, building strong mathematical skills and a positive approach to learning.
