About Harini
My passion for mathematics began with curiosity about patterns, logical reasoning, and problem-solving strategies. I earned a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, specializing in algebra, geometry, and applied problem-solving. Over 9 years, I have guided learners from elementary school math to middle school math, advanced algebra, geometry, and SAT math, helping them develop confidence, analytical skills, and conceptual clarity. I create engaging, supportive lessons that foster curiosity, independent thinking, and practical application. I tailor lessons to each student’s level. Beginners strengthen arithmetic, number sense, and foundational operations. Intermediate learners work on multi-step reasoning, applied algebra, and geometric problem-solving. Advanced learners tackle SAT-style questions, coordinate geometry, and higher-level algebra, cultivating analytical skills, problem-solving confidence, and independence. My teaching emphasizes structured thinking, curiosity, and perseverance. Outside teaching, I explore mathematical applications, problem-solving methods, and innovative approaches to enrich lessons. Witnessing students gain mastery, confidence, and curiosity is immensely rewarding. My goal is to prepare learners to approach mathematics creatively, logically, and independently.

Intermediate learners tackle multi-step algebraic problems, geometric reasoning, and applied exercises linking abstract concepts to real-life scenarios, fostering analytical thinking and structured problem-solving. Advanced learners engage with SAT math, coordinate geometry, higher-level algebra, and complex problem-solving strategies, strengthening independent reasoning, perseverance, and intellectual curiosity. Lessons integrate structured guidance, step-by-step problem-solving, interactive discussion, and practice exercises to cultivate mastery, confidence, and problem-solving resilience. Students are encouraged to explore multiple strategies, analyze patterns, and persist through challenges. The aim is to prepare learners not only for academic excellence but also for lifelong analytical skills and mathematical competence.
