About Ayla
My interest in mathematics arose from a fascination with patterns, logical structures, and problem-solving. This led me to pursue an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, gaining expertise in algebra, geometry, data analysis, and modeling. Over 12 years, I have guided students from elementary school math through middle school math, algebra, geometry, and SAT math, helping them build analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and confidence. I teach with patience, clarity, and adaptability, using visual aids, structured explanations, and real-world examples to make concepts accessible. I encourage curiosity, independent thinking, and logical reasoning, fostering both skill development and intellectual growth. Outside teaching, I explore new mathematical techniques, educational innovations, and analytical methods. Incorporating these insights into lessons enriches student learning. Students practice exploring multiple solution paths, justifying reasoning, and applying knowledge to unfamiliar problems.
