About Kala
I have been passionate about mathematics from an early age, drawn to its patterns, logic, and problem-solving opportunities. I earned a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, specializing in algebra, calculus, and statistics. Over 10 years of teaching, I have guided learners of all levels, helping them build understanding, analytical reasoning, and confidence in their mathematical abilities. I focus on clarity, patience, and adaptability in lessons. Each session is tailored to a student’s pace and style, incorporating visual aids, interactive exercises, and real-world applications. I encourage independent thinking, exploration, and active engagement to promote mastery and a deeper curiosity for mathematical concepts. Beyond teaching, I actively engage with applied mathematics projects, statistical modeling, and problem-solving research. Incorporating these experiences into lessons provides learners with context, relevance, and insight into the real-world applications of mathematics. Witnessing students transform from uncertainty to confidence, develop critical thinking, and cultivate an enduring appreciation for structured problem-solving is the most rewarding aspect of my work.
