About Bhairavi

I'm Bhairavi and I’m currently an Economics undergraduate at the University of Warwick with a strong passion for maths. I’ve always enjoyed problem-solving and understanding how maths works which is a huge reason why I enjoy teaching it to others.

I teach Maths because I find it really rewarding to help students build confidence and start to understand topics that may have previously felt difficult. Maths can seem challenging at first but with the right support and explanations it can become much clearer and even enjoyable. My goal is to help students feel more confident in their ability and make steady progress.

About the lesson

I have over 6 years of tutoring experience, supporting students in building confidence and improving their understanding of maths. I teach KS1, KS2, KS3, and GCSE Maths students.

My lessons are adapted to each student’s level, pace, and goals, whether they need help with the basics, keeping up with schoolwork, or preparing for exams. I aim to create a friendly and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.

Lessons are interactive and discussion-based. I ask questions throughout to check understanding and encourage students to think through problems rather than memorising methods. I break topics into clear steps, use examples, and guide students through practice questions so they can apply what they’ve learnt independently.

Each lesson is 1 hour long, which gives us enough time to review previous material, learn or practise a topic and address any areas the student finds challenging.
