About Liza
I am an A Level school leaver on a gap year. After taking Biology, Chemistry, Maths and an EPQ, I achieved AAAA*. I got 9s in Maths and Chemistry for GCSEs, having achieved nine 9s overall.
In my downtime, I play the piano and table tennis. I've also mentored grassroots table tennis players in the past.

Every student has different aims and ways of working. As such, I will tailor lesson plans to you. I just need to get to know you and your exam specification.
Typically though, lessons will be split into two sections. I will spend the first part going through chosen topics, following a lesson plan and exploring how to solve questions. The second part is open for me to help with any maths/chemistry questions that you might be struggling with.
I would spend the lesson explaining concepts and showing you how to answer questions. I would also be happy to offer exam advice.
Memorisation alone is not a sustainable strategy. I believe that an understanding of concepts and good exam technique is key to success. Maths and chemistry are hard but not impossible!
