About Ash

I've got 2 years of tutoring experience and am confident I can help anyone boost not only their grades, but their understanding of maths as a whole. As a student of Maths myself, I am passionate when it comes to the subject, and find it rewarding to help guide others to understanding in the field. I pride myself on my punctuality, organisation, and good nature, and strive to deliver quality sessions that help you attain your goals. Please do feel free to send me a message; I am more than happy to have a chat and offer a free introductory lesson before we commit to any regular slots!

About the lesson

To me, flexibility is key when it comes to tutoring. Rather than having a strict lesson structure for all tutees, I like to adapt my teaching to the needs of the individual. Whether you want to recap the entire syllabus, or want to dive deep into a particular subject, I'm more than happy to help guide you. If you're not sure exactly what you need from tutoring, I can help there too, providing tests to locate your stronger and weaker areas so we can work on them together. Ideal lesson lengths are 1 hour, as I feel concentration tends to wane after this time has passed, however I am flexible. I am currently studying Maths and Data Science at Exeter, and got an A in both Maths and Further Maths at A level, so am happy to work with students up to this level. I have worked doing tutoring online for several months now, and so have significant experience in the field, having worked with a variety of students.
