About Hema K
I am a certified accountant by profession and have tutored for accountancy exams too.
My interest in 11 plus was triggered when my own son was in year 4 and I wanted to ensure that he secured a good school.
This was the start of my tutoring journey for 11 plus over ten years ago and I have not looked back.
I strongly believe in a good educational foundation at a young age and am eager to impart my knowledge to your child. I am a great believer in holistic therapies and am a trained mindfulness for schools teacher and I incorporate mindfulness teaching along with academic progression.

My maths lessons are all about connecting the dots and where to approach different subjects and topics. Once the child learns to connect facts with the question in hand, a correct solution becomes inevitable.
Vocabulary is extremely important, not only for English but also for verbal reasoning. Covering the various aspects of the 11 plus syllabus takes time and I offer hourly lessons for Maths, English, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
