About Arhum

My name is Arhum, I’m currently living in London, I’m in my third year studying architecture at the University of Bath.

I come from a family of finance bros, so maths and physics is really in our blood. I have tutored some of my family friends and mum’s friends‘ children before and I really feel I can connect well with students (as I am one).

I’m happy to teach mathematics and physics at any level.

About the lesson

Often, I found the best way I learnt was to explain the questions / my approach to answering them to someone who needed help.

I realised that this is one of the best ways to understand what you are actually doing. I would like to take a similar approach with my students. Really helping them understand how examiners mark, what exactly they are looking for so that students are not just regurgitating content, they are using it to understand the principles.
