About Gopala

Hi, I'm Gopala, a Computer Science graduate with a specialisation in Data Science and an MSc Medical Imaging graduate based in Aberdeen. Throughout my studies, mathematics has been at the heart of everything I have done, from statistics and data science to machine learning and research. I understand that many students find maths intimidating, but I believe most difficulties come from how the subject is taught rather than the subject itself.

My goal is to explain concepts in a simple, logical way and help students build confidence step by step. I am patient, approachable, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. Whether you need help preparing for exams, improving grades, or strengthening your foundations, I will tailor lessons to your individual needs and learning style.

About the lesson

My lessons are structured, interactive, and focused on helping students understand the reasoning behind each topic rather than simply memorising methods.

During lessons, I:
- Break difficult concepts into simple steps
- Use worked examples and guided practice
- Identify knowledge gaps and target weak areas
- Provide exam-style questions and problem-solving techniques
- Adapt the pace to suit each student's confidence and ability

Lessons are typically 60 minutes and are suitable for:
- Primary School Maths
- National 5 Maths
- Higher Maths
- GCSE Maths
- Students preparing for assessments and exams

My aim is not only to improve grades but also to help students become more confident and independent learners. My lessons are suitable for students studying GCSE Maths, National 5, Higher Maths, and younger learners who need help building strong mathematical foundations.
