About Shruti

Hi! I'm Shruti, currently pursuing an MSc in Data & Computational Science at University College Dublin. I have a Bachelor's degree of Engineering in Information Technology and a strong academic background in Mathematics, Statistics, Science and Computer Science.

I genuinely enjoy helping students understand concepts that may initially seem difficult or confusing. I believe that with the right explanation, practice and encouragement, every student can become more confident in their abilities.

I am a patient, friendly and supportive tutor, and I enjoy adapting my teaching style to suit each student's age, level and learning pace. I am happy to help with schoolwork, homework, revision, exam preparation or simply strengthening the basics.

Outside of tutoring, I work with data, programming and statistics, which has strengthened my logical and problem-solving skills and gives me a practical approach to teaching Maths.

I'm looking forward to helping students not only improve academically, but also become more confident and comfortable with Maths and Science!

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to make Maths and Science simple, engaging and less intimidating. I believe every student learns differently, so I adapt each lesson to their individual level, pace and learning style.

I focus on understanding the concepts rather than memorizing answers. We will work through examples together, practice questions step by step, and identify areas where the student needs additional support.

Whether your child needs help with homework, wants to strengthen their foundations, is preparing for an exam, or simply wants to feel more confident in Maths and Science, I will create lessons around their specific needs.

I aim to create a friendly and comfortable learning environment where students feel free to ask questions, make mistakes and learn at their own pace. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to build their confidence and make them more independent learners.

Lessons are available online, and I am happy to tailor the content and difficulty level according to each student's requirements.
