About Maren
I am a Math tutor with over 5 years of experience and a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science. I enjoy helping students improve their mathematical communication and exposition skills. My goal is to make complex concepts clear and easy to understand. I focus on teaching students how to write coherent mathematical arguments and present solutions effectively. I work closely with students on university essays, research papers, and presentations. I guide them in structuring their ideas logically and expressing them with precision. My teaching style combines patience, clarity, and practical examples. I encourage students to ask questions and explore ideas deeply. Together, we work on turning difficult problems into clear, understandable solutions. I believe strong communication skills in mathematics build both knowledge and confidence. My methodology uses targeted drills and practice tests to strengthen understanding and improve speed. I teach efficient problem-solving under time pressure, helping students avoid common pitfalls. Strategy development is a key part of my sessions to help achieve high scores. Lessons are designed to build skills step-by-step, with a focus on real exam scenarios. I explain difficult concepts in simple terms so they become easy to grasp. Students learn to approach problems logically and confidently. My goal is not only to teach Maths but to prepare students to excel under exam conditions. I encourage consistent practice and reflection on mistakes. This builds both skill and self-confidence. Together, we work toward strong performance and high achievement.
