About Akshara
My passion for mathematics began with curiosity about patterns, logical reasoning, and problem-solving strategies. I earned a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, specializing in algebra, geometry, and applied problem-solving methods. Over 8 years, I have guided learners from elementary school math to middle school math, advanced algebra, geometry, and SAT math, fostering confidence, analytical reasoning, and conceptual clarity. I create a supportive, engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity, independent thinking, and practical application. I adapt lessons to student levels. Beginners strengthen foundational arithmetic, number sense, and basic operations. Intermediate learners develop multi-step reasoning, applied algebra, and geometric problem-solving skills. Advanced learners tackle SAT-style questions, coordinate geometry, and advanced algebra, cultivating independence, analytical thinking, and problem-solving confidence. My teaching emphasizes curiosity, persistence, and structured thinking in every lesson. Outside the classroom, I explore mathematical applications, problem-solving strategies, and innovative teaching approaches to enrich lessons. Witnessing students gain mastery, confidence, and curiosity is deeply rewarding. My goal is to equip learners to approach mathematics creatively, logically, and independently.

Intermediate learners develop multi-step algebraic reasoning, geometric problem-solving, and applied exercises connecting abstract concepts to practical scenarios. Advanced learners tackle SAT math, coordinate geometry, higher-level algebra, and complex problem-solving strategies, strengthening analytical thinking, independent reasoning, and resilience. Lessons integrate structured guidance, stepwise problem-solving, interactive discussion, and practical exercises to foster intellectual curiosity, mastery, and confidence. Students are encouraged to explore multiple solution strategies, analyze patterns, and persist through challenges. The lessons aim to equip students for academic success, logical thinking, and lifelong mathematical competence.
Lesson pacing is customized to learner levels. Beginners receive guided exercises, visual explanations, and foundational skill-building.
