About Shakil
I have been tutoring for close to three years. Initially I volunteered at university to help lower year students with tutorial classes and report writing. I extended my volunteering experiences to a tuition center where I tutored students with varying abilities and year groups.
I have had students come to me with a predicted D and after months of hard work I helped them achieve Bs and As.
Currently I work as private tutor, providing one-to-one tutoring at public libraries or the pupils residence.

I am a graduate with a masters degree in aerospace engineering and I have been tutoring pupils at GCSE and A levels for the past three years. Additionally, I have experience tutoring undergrad students.
Predominantly I tutor children and teenagers, however I available and capable of tutoring adults who are studying mathematics and science.
I provide predominantly two types of tutoring: exam preparation and long term support tutoring.
- Exam preparation is aimed at students who are in their final years. I will prepare a revision schedule for the pupil, find their weaknesses and provide targeted support.
- Long term support is aimed at students who do not have good teachers at school and as result find it difficult to learn and keep up. I will try to contact the pupils school to get the lesson plans for the year, using this I will customize my lessons to give the student the best support possible.
As a teacher I am friendly if the pupil is well behaved and does the assigned work, the pupil will always be given appropriate homework and I keep record of the students progress for parents.
