About Lethabo

I am Lethabo. I have an honours in financial management from The University of Johannesburg. My bachelor degree majors were accounting and financial management and my honours degree was focused on cost and management accounting with a focus on CIMA accreditation which I was not able to pursue.

I have a passion for skills transfer and I do this by bridging the knowlegde gaps that I identify. I was previously employed by the Department of Education as a part-time Adult Basic Education and Training teacher so I am comfortable with working with young adults and school learners alike.

As a fellow student who is towards a degree in the music degree, I have capacity and ability to do evening tutoring for part-time learners who are juggling different roles.

About the lesson

My goal is to make you confident your ability to face challenges knowing that you will do well so we will start with the following:
1.Assessing your current strengths and growing points and your understanding of your current topics
2. Set up SMART Goals - your goals not mine
3. Going back to basics and working on growth points
4. Going through exam and/or test strategy and actual tests and exams.

I am proficient in English and I can understand Afrikaans and communicate in Sepedi and Isizulu. I am also passionate about simplifying accounting jargon for students who will be writing English exams aren't in an English medium school.

Because I want you to be at your best you can expect a slow start - we will go through important concepts in depth and move back in order to move forward then as you gain confidence we will speed up and you'll start to enjoy the subject as well.

I like to work with anyone who from grade 9 up to second year level.
