About Maya
I was predicted low GCSE results due to my primary school SATs and I proved everyone wrong, achieving one of the top GCSE results in the year, with my hard work and ambition. I have tutored in the past and made such a huge difference. I tutored a student GCSE Biology and their grade went up by two. I love making a difference to people and believing in them when no one else does, as I know what that feels like. I can guarantee that I would make a difference to my students education. I have done it before and I'll definitely do it again with all my students. GCSEs and A-Levels are a huge journey, and I am prepared to take that journey with you, being there supporting you every step of the way.

I use the flip learning approach where I give students videos to watch and they come into my lessons with questions and anything they don't understand, which makes my time teaching 100% efficient and successful in them passing exams and going up by a grade or two. The typical length of my lesson is an hour, and targeted for GCSE and AS students (Year 10,11 & 12) I have achieved I achieved 7 A*'s, 2 A's and 1 B, including A* in GCSE English Language and Literature, A* Biology, A in GCSE Chemistry and A* in GCSE Mathematics as well as grades AAB for A-Level Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics.
