About Janine

I have been teaching with my MBA in Professional Accounting for about ten years now. Between my excellent GPA of 3.53 (honors with distinction) and my years of experience as a CFO, I am definitely qualified to teach anyone from high school level up to Master's degree students. Almost all of my degrees were obtained in the online atmosphere, so I am very familiar with the different platforms. I helped my students at Ridley-Lowell to obtain all A's and B's on their classwork with me. If I gave them homework assignments that they didn't understand, I would slowly go over each step in the process until they understood where their mistake was.

About the lesson

I love learning and would like to teach in an online atmosphere. My entire journey in school right now has been online and I am very comfortable in this format. I have decided to go back to school and get my doctorate’s degree so that I may teach adult learning online. I have my MBA in Professional Accounting and that enables me to teach classes from Accounting to Management to Mathematics to Economics and all the classes in between. My lessons are geared towards any students who need some help in any of these classes. My lesson structure would depend on what the student needs help in. If they are having a specific problem with a question or homework assignment, I will work with you to figure it out, while trying to guide you to do it yourself. A brief synopsis of my personal teaching philosophy is: As a teacher, I will acknowledge that each student learns differently. Different philosophies may apply to different students, depending on the subject matter and his/her learning styles. I will teach them as individually as I possibly can. Different cultural backgrounds need to be addressed whenever possible also. I, myself, will be a lifelong learner and hope to encourage students to do the same.
