About Alam
Im an MBA graduate with lots of passion for teaching
Give yourself a chance to learn. Come prepared for class with all the correct equipment, especially a positive attitude. A lot more goes into preparing a lesson than what you probably realise. In most instances, students have a chance to learn from an industry experts and they make judgements based on minor, petty things like the colour of the socks I’m wearing.
The best type of success is retrospective, meaning that if you apply yourself to reach a goal you will feel absolutely awesome when you get there. The courses that I teach are designed to be challenging. You have the perfect opportunity to apply resilience and perseverance to learn something useful. Please don’t give up at the first sign of confusion. Knowledge comes just on the other side of this feeling.
While I’ll do my best to give you a real life context for the maths I teach, please be aware that often there is none. This doesn’t mean that you don’t have to learn or that because of this I haven’t proven myself. Often I teach a series of skills that must be applied together as the work gets more complicated. If you miss out on some of the prerequisite skills, life is harder.

1. While introducing any new topic, build on their previous knowledge.... that is -link the topic with something that they already know.
2. Give everyday examples or some illustrations, so as to make them understand the concept....
3. Add humor related to the topic...it makes the topic attractive, and maintains their attention....
4. Repeatedly emphasis the important points.
5. Keep the lecture interactive. Ask them questions that stimulates critical thinking.
6. Ask questions in general to the whole class.. and find out their answers...if it is right then compliment them, if it is wrong then give them an answer & explain why it's wrong....
