About Anupama

I’m an MBA graduate from Delhi Technological University with a B.E. in Civil Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology. I enjoy working with students and helping them become more confident in their English skills.

My interest in teaching developed through my experience with an NGO, where I worked with underprivileged children and designed an English learning program to make the subject more engaging and accessible. This experience taught me how to explain concepts patiently, understand different learning needs, and make learning more enjoyable.

I want to continue teaching because I believe good English skills can improve both academic performance and everyday confidence. I enjoy helping students strengthen their reading, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension through simple explanations and practice. My goal is to create a friendly environment where students feel comfortable learning, asking questions, and improving at their own pace.

About the lesson

I believe learning English should feel comfortable, practical, and enjoyable rather than stressful. I explain concepts in a simple way and use examples from everyday life so that students can understand and apply what they learn.

A typical class starts with a quick revision, followed by the day’s topic. Depending on the student’s needs, we work on reading, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and sentence formation through examples and practice exercises. I also encourage students to read aloud and ask questions, which helps improve both understanding and confidence.

I keep my teaching style flexible and adjust the pace according to each student. My experience teaching underprivileged children through an NGO taught me to be patient and adapt to different learning levels.

My classes are mainly for primary and secondary school students who want to strengthen their English fundamentals, improve their reading and grammar, and become more confident in the language.
