Completed Rotatory Internship in the Department of Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Emergency Medicine, Radiology, Ophthalmology, ENT, Dermatology, Community Medicine and Psychiatry.
• Duty as a junior doctor / house surgeon mainly focuses on patient diagnosis, patient care, dealing with co morbid conditions, patient mental health, counselling them, creating awareness, explaining nutritional benefits.
• Actively involved in direct patient care for inpatient and outpatient services under the supervision of residents and attending physicians.
• Wrote prescriptions, placed orders and worked 36 hours straight shifts at least once a week managing the ICU and ER patients.
• Trained in the emergency management protocol and minor procedures such as securing intravenous access, intra-arterial access for blood gases, suturing techniques and wound care.
• Assisted in multiple surgeries during the general surgery rotation.
• Participated in case presentations and assisted in teaching medical students on history taking and physical examination during their clinical rotations.
