About Lynne

My name is Lynne. French is my first language, as I graduated from a French high school. I completed the French baccalaureate, then moved to Montreal to attend McGill University to complete my science degree.

I'm hardworking and organized, with a patient and creative teaching approach. I'm a dedicated tutor with a strong educational background and a wide range of knowledge. I will make sure to adapt my teaching style to your unique needs, ensuring clear and accessible explanations. I aim to provide the support you need to succeed, and look forward to helping you achieve your goals, whether you're a current student or a lifelong learner. Let's get started on this productive and enjoyable learning experience together!

About the lesson

My approach centers on clarity and engagement. I tailor my teaching to each student's unique needs and preferences, emphasizing clear, concise explanations and fostering interactive learning. I provide constructive feedback regularly, which is integral to improvement.

A typical lesson begins with a summary of everything I'm about to cover. This gives students a chance to have a clear understanding of the class' objectives and keep track of their progress. Depending on the course and level, I can deliver the content with the help of visual aids and examples, prepare interactive elements like discussions, Q&A sessions, and create practice questions to keep students engaged if needed. The lesson concludes with key takeaways and the opportunity for any lingering questions.

What sets me apart is my adaptability, broad knowledge base, and clear communication. I can cover a wide range of content, and use various tools to enhance the learning experience.

My French lessons cater to students from preschool to high school, or those who are beginner French speakers.

I met Lynne at McGill University. I noticed she was very hard working and always keeping up and excelling in her coursework. Lynne taught me Arabic twice a week for a year. At the start, I knew how to speak a bit and the basics, but with Lynne’s help, I improved dramatically and can now communicate fluently with others in Arabic. Her approach was very effective and I highly recommend taking lessons if you want to perfect your languages!
