About Roman
Music has been the center of my life since I picked up the guitar when I was 12. I have been fortunate to encounter very inspirational teachers and musicians through my studies at McGill and life in general. Those encounters have shaped my own music but also the way I teach which I have been doing for more than ten years.

My approach is adapted to each student and aims at guiding the individual to discover his own musicality. It is important for me to make sure the fundamentals (rhythm, understanding of the mechanics of the instrument, ear training, phrasing and melodic sense) are strong so that the student has a solid base on which to grow.
I believe if one gathers his or her attention enough to have a strong foundation, then music and creativity will flow and bloom by themselves no matter what your goal is.
