About Brendan
I'm a mechanical engineering student with a passion for teaching who achieved 95%+ in their Leaving Cert Math, Applied Math, Physics, and DCG. I love learning and teaching math, and got into the roll of honor of the Irish Math Olympiad squad in the past.

I find that teaching a foundation of the maths works better than just focusing on exam questions. I believe that doing this allows students to attempt every question which shows up rather than only ones similar to previous year papers. I focus on what students have already gone through in class and reinforce the ideas to be better suited to tackle exam style questions. Can also go through specific concepts or questions students are struggling with. I don't do exam tips and tricks to get a couple extra marks, I try get students to answer full questions and get overall confidence.
Length of sessions are generally 1 hour but can be longer if requested.
I have taught with this methodology before and it works granted the student puts in the effort also.
Lessons are better suited for 4th and 5th year students or those at the start of their 6th year.
