About Stefan
My name is Stefan Caretti, and I have a strong passion for mathematics, science, and problem solving. I enjoy making learning both accessible and engaging. Outside of my studies, I enjoy going to the gym and have played a wide variety of sports including basketball, soccer, and tennis.

My tutoring approach is highly interactive and tailored to each student’s needs. I combine step-by-step problem solving with clear real-world examples so that abstract concepts feel practical and intuitive. I also encourage active participation and avoid rote learning to ensure that the student's have a deep understanding of the content.
A typical lesson runs for 60–120 minutes, depending on the student’s focus and schedule. This allows enough time to introduce new material, practice it, and address questions without feeling rushed.
I am a first-year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Adelaide with strong academic performance in STEM based subjects. I have experience tutoring peers and younger students, particularly in STEM subjects, and I am familiar with explaining complex concepts in simple terms. My background in engineering and problem solving equips me with both the technical knowledge and the practical teaching strategies to support students.
My lessons are for primary school and high school students of any age!
