About Vaishnevi

Hi! I'm an MBBS (Medicine) undergraduate with a genuine passion for Biology and helping others learn. My interest in Biology extends beyond exams, it's the foundation of the field I'm pursuing, and I enjoy showing students how the concepts they learn in school connect to real-life medicine.

I decided to become a tutor because I know that Biology can seem overwhelming when it's taught as a subject to memorize. I want to help students understand the "why" behind each concept so they can learn with confidence instead of relying on rote memorization. Seeing students improve, gain confidence, and achieve their academic goals is incredibly rewarding, and I'm excited to be part of their learning journey.

Whether you're aiming for an A+ in SPM Biology or simply want to strengthen your understanding, my goal is to create a supportive, engaging learning environment where asking questions is always encouraged.

About the lesson

As a medical undergraduate , I strive to make Biology easy to understand by breaking down complex concepts into simple, relatable explanations. My teaching approach focuses on building a strong understanding of fundamental concepts before moving on to exam techniques and higher-order thinking questions. I encourage students to ask questions freely and adapt my lessons to suit each student's learning pace and needs.

Lessons are typically 1.5 to 2 hours long, depending on the student's preferences and the topics being covered. Each session includes concept explanations, worked examples, practice questions, and revision of common SPM exam mistakes.

I have a strong academic background in Biology SPM, i have achieved an A, and am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). My experience allows me to provide deeper insights into biological concepts while still teaching them at an SPM-appropriate level.

My lessons are primarily designed for SPM Biology students (Form 4 and Form 5), but I can also help younger secondary school students who wish to strengthen their Biology foundation and prepare for future examinations.
