About Ammy
Hello and welcome!
I am Ammy, a passionate and dedicated English tutor who truly enjoys helping students achieve their language goals. I have experience working with learners of different ages and levels, including children and adults, and I always strive to create lessons that are engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs.
My teaching style focuses on:

Whether you’re preparing for exams like IELTS, improving your speaking skills, or just starting your English journey, I will guide you step by step in a relaxed and encouraging environment. I believe that making mistakes is an important part of learning, so my lessons are always a safe space to practice and grow.
Education is something I’m truly passionate about, and I love seeing my students progress and gain confidence over time. I aim to make every lesson interactive, practical, and fun!
Outside of teaching, I enjoy activities like reading, exploring new cultures, watching movies, traveling, cooking, and listening to music. I also love meeting people from different parts of the world and learning about their experiences.

My approach to tutoring is student-centered, engaging, and goal-oriented. I focus on creating a supportive environment where learners feel comfortable expressing themselves while actively improving their English skills. I use a communicative teaching approach, encouraging students to speak as much as possible while guiding them with structured feedback. My techniques include personalized lesson planning, interactive discussions, real-life scenarios, and targeted error correction that supports both fluency and accuracy. I also incorporate vocabulary building and pronunciation practice throughout each lesson to ensure well-rounded language development.
A typical lesson lasts between 30- 50 minutes, depending on the student’s needs and schedule. Each session usually includes a warm-up, focused practice (such as conversation or a specific skill), and feedback to reinforce learning outcomes. I make sure lessons are consistent yet flexible, adapting content and pace based on the student’s progress and goals.
I have experience as an English tutor on Preply, where I work with students from diverse backgrounds and proficiency levels. This has helped me develop strong communication skills and the ability to tailor lessons to individual learning styles. Additionally, my background in Journalism and Mass Communication has strengthened my command of English, particularly in writing, speaking, and clear expression.
My lessons are suitable for beginner to intermediate learners, as well as students who want to improve their conversational English, pronunciation, and confidence. I work with teenagers and adults who are looking to use English for everyday communication, work, or personal development.
