About Senzelwe
Sanibona! My name is Senzi, and I am a native isiZulu speaker with a degree in Media Studies from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
I believe learning a language should be practical, enjoyable, and confidence-building. I aim to help students speak isiZulu naturally through real-life conversations rather than relying solely on memorization. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving at their own pace.
In addition to my academic background, I have experience working as an educational assistant, where I supported learners with English, communication, proofreading, and academic tasks. This experience strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and encourage students to reach their goals.
I teach in both English and isiZulu, making my lessons accessible to complete beginners as well as learners who want to improve their speaking and listening skills. Every lesson is tailored to your goals, whether you're learning isiZulu for work, travel, family, school, or personal interest.

Learning a new language should feel exciting, not intimidating. My lessons are designed to help you speak isiZulu with confidence through practical, everyday conversations rather than memorising long vocabulary lists or complicated grammar rules.
As a native isiZulu speaker and a Media Studies graduate, I understand the importance of clear communication. I also have experience as an educational assistant, where I supported learners with reading, writing, and communication skills. This has helped me develop a patient, encouraging teaching style that adapts to each student's pace and learning goals.
I teach in both English and isiZulu, making my lessons suitable for complete beginners as well as learners with some basic knowledge who want to improve their speaking, listening, pronunciation, and confidence.
A typical lesson may include:
* Everyday greetings and introductions.
* Practical vocabulary and useful phrases.
* Pronunciation practice with guidance from a native speaker.
* Conversation exercises based on real-life situations.
* Simple explanations of grammar where needed.
* A recap of key points and optional practice activities to reinforce what you've learned.
My lessons are tailored to your individual goals. Whether you're learning isiZulu for travel, work, university, communicating with friends or family, or simply because you enjoy learning languages, I will create lessons that are relevant and enjoyable.
