About Karla
I am a Medical Assistant to a Minimally Invasive Spine Surgeon currently helping build a practice from the ground up. I also work for Jefferson College assisting in building a new Medical Assistant Program. I have a background in Primary Care, ASC, OR, Neuroscience, Wound Care, ect. I love what I do and I love to teach.

I love to have fun while teaching. I find that approaching a topic in a fun matter engages students and keeps them focused and excited to learn. I also ensure there is time for student feedback and try to focus more on areas that the students feel they need more time on.
