About Akshay singh
I enjoy teaching because I remember how overwhelming medical school can feel. There is a huge amount of information to learn, and it can be difficult to know what is actually important for exams and what you need to be able to apply clinically.
My teaching is friendly, practical and tailored to you. I break difficult topics down into simple, memorable concepts and focus on helping you understand the reasoning behind an answer rather than simply memorising it. For OSCEs, I like to make sessions interactive, working through stations together, practising your approach and giving clear, honest feedback.
Whether you're struggling with a particular topic, preparing for an upcoming exam or simply want to feel more confident clinically, we'll focus on exactly what you need.
My aim is simple: To make medicine feel less overwhelming and help you walk into your exams feeling prepared and confident.

Hi, I’m Akshay Singh, a medical doctor and experienced clinical tutor. I graduated from Charles University and have worked across the NHS, including King’s College Hospital, the Isle of Wight and currently The Hillingdon Hospitals in North-West London.
I teach medical students in a friendly, practical and straightforward way, focusing on understanding rather than memorising endless facts. My teaching is particularly suited to OSCEs, anatomy, surgery, orthopaedics, clinical examinations and general clinical skills.
Lessons are usually 60 minutes and are tailored to your level and goals. I can explain topics from the basics, work through clinical cases, practise OSCE stations and give honest, constructive feedback to help you become more confident.
