About Nalan
I am a medical graduate with over three years of tutoring experience, working with both high school and university students. I tutor Grades 10–12 Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Mathematics, as well as university-level Health Sciences subjects such as Anatomy, Physiology, and Chemistry. I have primarily worked with students from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Stellenbosch University, supporting several long-term students through structured academic guidance. My teaching approach is structured, goal-oriented, and tailored to each student. I focus on building a strong understanding of core concepts and foundational principles, which helps students manage more complex topics with confidence. Lessons are adapted to suit individual learning styles and academic goals. Having completed a demanding medical degree, I understand the importance of effective time management and study planning. I aim to create a supportive and professional learning environment where students feel confident, well-prepared, and able to achieve consistent academic improvement.

I am a recently qualified medical graduate with a strong academic background in Biology, Chemistry, and Physical Sciences. I have experience tutoring high school and university-level students and enjoy helping learners build confidence and achieve measurable improvement.
My teaching style focuses on understanding core concepts first, then applying this knowledge through exam-style questions and effective study techniques. I tailor each session to the student’s learning pace and goals, whether it is catching up on content, preparing for exams, or strengthening foundations.
