About Allan

I am a current UNSW medical student and professional tutor with 4 years of teaching experience. During my HSC, I scored above 90 in 14 units of subjects including 97 in Chemistry, 99 in the exam for Mathematics Extension 1, and 96 in Software Design and Development. I additionally have extensive experience in tutoring for the UCAT (where I scored 3200, 98th percentile), and for medical school interviews.

About the lesson

I have extensive experience preparing students for medical interviews, with many successfully gaining admission into their top preference of medical or dental school.
For new students, I teach key strategies, share personal resources and help craft strong responses.

For more experienced students, I conduct full mock interviews tailored to the specific university you are applying to, providing constructive criticism to build interviewing ability and confidence.

Allan is the most capable, personable, dependable and invaluable Chemistry tutor. His innate ability to meet you where you are, encourage you and challenge you - coupled with his studied, holistic understanding and incisive insight - are the catalyst you need to energise your learning. Even in high school he was answering all his peers' questions and helping them think through tougher concepts - he's always been the sort of person looking out for ways to help others. I can wholeheartedly recommend him as a talented, trustworthy, terrific tutor.
