About Charlie
I am a second year medical student at University College London and biomedical science graduate, having obtained first class honours in my BSc. I am passionate about scientific and medical research, learning and teaching. My first priority is always to improve my knowledge and skills, and teaching enables me to do this while sharing my expertise with others. I have previously worked as a freelance tutor teaching GCSE science and A level biology and chemistry.

I encourage students to take responsibility for their learning and prioritise a strong conceptual understanding of the subject. Through self-directed learning and problem solving exercises, students develop intuition about a topic, which I then test and strengthen through discussion. I will provide students with a variety of resources including websites, textbooks and videos to develop their understanding, along with testing materials and problem sets to apply their knowledge.
