Jess is known around LA to be the go to Physics tutor. At first, I thought, there’s no chance he’s different than the other tutors. I’ve been tutored in practically every subject and I found tutors to be frustrating and hard to work with. After getting a C minus on my first exam, I started to look around for tutors. I thought I was hopeless - how could someone be able to teach me any academic subject, let alone Physics. After working with Jess for the semester, I was magically able to pull off the A!

Jess is able to simplify any complex concept. It’s what gives him the reputation he has as the top Physics tutor in the area. On top of it, he is extremely funny, which makes me look forward to each tutoring session!

Math has always been a bit of a struggle for me, specifically pre-calc. I go to a pretty competitive high school when it comes to academics, but math was always my lowest subject. When I was connected to Jess through a mutual friend, I didn't know what to expect. When Jess started tutoring me, I had no idea I would actually enjoy learning pre-calculus as well as become one of the top scorers in my class. Math was always something I assumed I was going to continue on the "average" path in high school, but after learning from Jess, I'm on my way to take Calculus AB AP, and will take Calculus BC AP my senior year. If you asked me 6 months ago if I would be taking Calc BC AP in my future, I would tell you that you're crazy. Jess made that happen for me!

Forever grateful for all that he has done for me. If anyone in my class needs help with calc, I will not hesitate to send them to Jess.
