About Anita
Kia ora! I’m Anita, a 4th-year medical student with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and strong academic results across population health, nutrition, community health, digital health and cultural safety. I love helping students feel more confident and capable in their studies, especially when navigating challenging or competitive health pathways.
I understand that university study and pre-med preparation can feel overwhelming at times. Having been through these pathways myself, I offer friendly, supportive and structured guidance, creating a supportive space where questions are encouraged and understanding comes first.
Whether you’re studying a Bachelor of Health Sciences or preparing for pre-med, UCAT or MMI interviews, my goal is to support you to feel well-prepared, motivated and confident as you work towards your next step in health.

My tutoring style is structured, supportive and outcomes-focused, with an emphasis on building deep understanding, confidence and clear reasoning skills.
For health sciences, I focus on breaking down assignments, linking theory to real-world health and clinical contexts, and providing tips on high-quality written responses and presentations.
For pre-med, UCAT and MMI preparation, my teaching is strategic and reflective. I focus on how to approach questions, think under pressure, communicate clearly, and demonstrate insight, empathy and ethical reasoning — the key qualities interviewers are looking for. I provide personalised feedback, mock questions and practical tips based on my own experience successfully navigating these processes.
I teach in Auckland CBD and online, and my goal is to help students not only perform, but also feel confident, capable and well-prepared for the next stage of their health career.
