About Usman
I’m Usman, an MD medical student with an academic background in IGCSE and A Levels. As a Class Representative, I regularly support my classmates through academic sessions, concept discussions, and exam preparation. I’m passionate about making challenging subjects easier to understand and creating a comfortable environment where students can ask questions without hesitation.
I combine patience, approachability, and a clear understanding of what students need to succeed. Rather than encouraging rote memorization, I focus on helping students understand the reasoning behind each concept, build strong foundations, and develop the confidence to solve questions independently. Having progressed from school-level Biology to medical school, I can explain topics in a way that connects directly with students’ current level while preparing them for more advanced study.
Whether you are struggling with difficult topics, aiming to improve your grades, or preparing for important exams, I will tailor each lesson to your goals. My sessions are structured, interactive, and focused on measurable progress, so you leave each lesson with greater clarity, stronger confidence, and practical strategies for continued improvement.

My approach is simple: understand first, memorize second. As a medical student and Class Representative, I’ve experienced the jump from IGCSE and A Level Biology to advanced medical sciences, so I understand where students commonly get stuck.
My lessons are highly exam-oriented and tailored to your level. We’ll start by identifying what you already know and where you’re struggling, then break difficult concepts into simple, logical steps. We’ll use diagrams, active questioning, real-life medical examples, and exam-style questions to make sure you can actually apply what you learn.
A typical lesson combines concept teaching, active recall, question practice, and a quick review of key takeaways. I focus on helping you understand the “why” behind an answer rather than simply memorizing it.
My lessons are ideal for IGCSE and A Level Biology students, as well as students looking for support with medical-school subjects. Whether you’re completely lost on a topic or aiming to push your grades higher, we’ll work at your pace and build a strategy around your goals.
