About Rahul

Hi, I’m Rahul, and I am currently finishing my second year studying medicine at university and I offer flexible online tutoring. I have always enjoyed helping others understand difficult topics, especially because I know what it feels like to struggle at this stage. This is what motivates me to teach in a clear and supportive way.

My teaching style focuses on step-by-step explanations and exam orientated learning, helping students not only understand content but also apply it effectively in exams. I aim to keep lessons both structured and friendly, creating an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions while still staying focused and productive.

I have experience in secondary school being an academic mentor for lower year groups supporting them in their studies both emotionally through stress exercises, coping with exam pressures and physically through exam practice and help with questions. Therefore I have developed a simple and approachable way of explaining concepts as I understand common areas where students struggle and work to make these topics easier to grasp.

About the lesson

I am a medical student offering GCSE Science tutoring (Biology and Chemistry), with additional support for Maths. My lessons are structured, clear, and focused on helping students understand difficult topics rather than just memorising them.

Each lesson lasts one hour and includes explanation of key concepts, guided practice with exam questions, and independent work to build confidence. I also offer longer sessions up to two hours if students prefer more in-depth support.

I am flexible with scheduling and available on evenings and weekends, making it easy to fit lessons around school. I adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s level and pace, ensuring they feel comfortable asking questions.

My aim is to improve both understanding and exam technique, helping students achieve higher grades and feel more confident in their abilities. Lessons are conducted online and tailored to the student’s current needs.
