About Nayan
I am a 1st year medical student at the University of Nottingham, and have been tutoring for the last 2 years, ranging from 11+ to A level. I've taught around 20-30 students in this time, but sporadic and timetabled lessons. Often my students come to me as bright and potentially high achieving, and by the end of my tutoring they are well on their way to reaching their potential. Most students come to me at grade Bs or Cs (4s and 5s), some even Ds, and end up, with my help, with As and A*s (grades 7-9).

My lessons will consist of you telling me how you find the topic, telling me what you know already, and then I will break down the key concepts, ensuring that you can answer those high demand questions. Learning techniques: Maths doesn't need notes - brief flashcards will do, but a lot of practice questions are imperative, in order to make answering exam questions become second-nature. For sciences, using my school textbook and the exam board's specification, I hand wrote my notes (flashcards may be more effective for some people). I memorised my science notes by repeatedly saying them aloud and after they were memorised, I did many exam questions.
