One of the main focuses of my teaching involves thoroughly explaining difficult concepts by breaking them down into simpler terms. Each lesson is tailored to my student, ensuring I focus on what they struggle with, whilst ensuring to cover the whole curriculum. Another key focus of mine is helping my students with mastering exam technique. This includes regular exam questions after each topic, as well as teaching essential tips and tricks that can be applied to many questions. I implement skills such as active recall and spaced repetition which are essential methods for retaining memory, knowledge, and skill.
