About Hares

My name is Hares and I am a gap year student having finished my A-levels. I have received 9's in GCSE's in Biology, Chemistry and Psychology. From my experience through GCSE's and A-levels, I have developed a passion for teaching and have been tutoring students of various levels for a while now. I take pride in helping my students excel in their studies while also developing a love for the subject. I assure you that you, the student, will receive any help that you desire.

About the lesson

As a tutor with two years of experience, I have successfully taught Biology and Chemistry to my peers and younger students. To create effective lesson plans, I ensure that they are not only resourceful but also engaging for the students. I tailor each to its length but also to each student. I believe that interactive learning is the best way for a student to learn, so I make sure to involve them directly in the lesson. I also take a gradual approach to teaching, ensuring that the student is confident at each step before moving forward. I encourage my students to ask questions and clarify their doubts during my teaching sessions. I believe that this fosters a better understanding of the subject matter. I aim to provide a supportive and effective learning environment for my students. I also make use of visual diagrams, as this can help further enhance the student's understanding of that topic. Finally, at the end of the lesson, I would go over exam questions with the students so that they are able to improve their examination techniques as this is very key, and I feel it is one area that students should be heavily helped upon. Overall, I find that my sessions are very helpful. I feel that once you begin your journey of learning either Biology, Chemistry or Psychology, for any exam board, you will find it relatively straightforward and even enjoyable. Previous students have enjoyed this approach which I have taken in tutoring, and even find themselves that they tend to enjoy this interactive approach. So if you would like me as your tutor for GCSE/ AS Biology, Chemistry or Psychology, or any exam board, I would love to be able to be a part of this process.
