About Ciara
I am a 2nd Year Medical Student who has been tutoring for many years. I have a degree in Human Biology and an A in my A-Level chemistry as well as four other A grade A-Levels. I tutored KS3 students throughout my GCSE's and GSCE students throughout my A-Levels. I then continued tutoring throughout my first degree to various levels of students. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic I continued tutoring students of various levels and in many subjects especially school-age children to keep up with their studies while school was out. Since beginning medicine as a mature student I have also tutored a few of my peers in anatomy and physiology and A-level chemistry alongside my studies.

I try to teach through fun activities that help boring information stuck in your head. I also try to teach in a different manner to what the teacher/ lecturer is as looking at topics from a different angle can be the key to finally understanding that tricky topic. I use a variety of learning methods to try and suit what the student needs and what suits them best. During my first lesson I get to know the student and I feel learning more about each other and how the student learns best goes a long way to allowing the student to enjoy the lessons and learn more.
