About Piotr
I am a motivated first-year Medical student at the University of Nottingham, who is passionate about teaching others Maths and the Sciences to help them improve their grades and reach their full potential. Achieving top A-level and GCSE grades at Spalding Grammar School allowed me to develop efficient and effective learning techniques, which I am eager to share with others.

I tutor: Maths, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics from Year 7 to GCSE level, Chemistry & Biology at A-level and AS-level, Maths at AS-level. I also offer personal statement support sessions for those who are applying to study Medicine or Dentistry at university. In the past I have given personal statement guidance to many students, who all received at least one offer to study Medicine/Dentistry at university. Having tutored students as a prefect at Spalding Grammar School, I know that each student has their own unique needs and preferences, to which I will adjust my teaching style. Usually, I first go over the foundations of the subject with the student to ensure that they are well understood. Then, I explain and break down more complex topics that the student struggles with and I guide them through practice questions/past papers to establish long-term knowledge retention, solidify their understanding, and improve exam technique. I also encourage students to ask questions and explain their reasoning, as this is one of the best ways to reinforce learning. My lessons can be 1 or 2 hours long and are for anyone who wants to improve their grades, no matter the age or level of ability.
