About Damini

Hello! I'm Damini, a medical student with a strong academic background in the sciences, currently tutoring GCSE and A-level physics and maths online.

Studying medicine has given me a deep understanding of these subjects at an advanced level, along with the discipline and communication skills needed to explain difficult concepts clearly and patiently. I know how important it is for students to feel supported, not just taught to, which is why I take the time to understand each student's individual strengths and weak areas before building lessons around them.

My lessons are structured, focused, and tailored to help you build genuine understanding and confidence — not just memorise facts for an exam. Whether you're working towards your GCSEs or pushing for top grades at A-level, I'm here to help you get there.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring
I believe every student learns differently, so I don't use a one-size-fits-all method. At the start, I get to know each student's strengths and weak areas, then build lessons around what they specifically need to improve — whether that's a tricky topic, exam technique, or general confidence with the subject.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long, giving enough time to work through concepts properly, tackle practice questions, and clear up any misunderstandings without feeling rushed.

My background
I'm a medical student, which means I know exactly what it takes to break down complex material into something manageable and to stay disciplined with exam preparation. I bring that same mindset to every lesson — clear explanations, patience, and a focus on real understanding rather than just memorising answers.

Who my lessons are for
I teach GCSE and A-level students online, tailoring each session to the individual's syllabus and exam board. Whether you're aiming to build a stronger foundation or push for top grades, lessons are structured around your goals.
