About Sharon

Hi! My name is Sharon and I am in my fourth year of medical school. I am passionate about teaching and have several years of experience helping students achieve their goals. For two years, I have worked as a substitute teacher and substitute teacher for students from elementary school to high school, where I have taught most school subjects. In addition to my teaching experience, I have been a leader and coach in martial arts – a sport I have practiced since the age of six. These experiences have developed my pedagogical skills, my patience and my ability to motivate and adapt teaching to each student's individual needs. As a medical student, I have a strong academic background and know what it takes to succeed in studies. I strive to create a safe, structured and motivating learning environment where students develop both knowledge and self-confidence. My goal is for each student to feel seen, inspired and given the tools necessary to reach their full potential.

About the lesson

I offer individualized English tuition for students from elementary school to high school. Whether the goal is to improve grammar, develop vocabulary, strengthen oral and written skills, or raise grades, each lesson is tailored to the student's needs, goals, and level of knowledge. The teaching focuses on creating a deep understanding through clear explanations, structured reviews, and effective study techniques. I also offer support with homework, test preparation, assignments, and oral presentations to give the student the best possible opportunity to succeed. The lessons are conducted online, which provides flexibility and the opportunity for teaching regardless of where the student is located. The first lesson is free of charge and is used to map the student's needs, goals, and prerequisites and to design an individual study plan. In addition to English, I also offer tuition in Swedish, history, social studies, geography, religion, and biology.
