About Mehreen

I am a medical student at KCL. I know how difficult the GCSE's can be as the first big academic and want to empower students to reach their potential and favourite academic selves. I have worked with several tutoring centres that teach in very different ways and have distilled all these study methods into the most useful techniques for the best learning that have been so helpful to me in passing my own exams and to my students who have gone on to be amazing.

About the lesson

I have been a private tutor for 5 years, and have worked in tutoring cn. I love teaching and working with students to solve problems. The best part of being a tutor has to be seeing my students realize how easy something they used to find hard has become.

I teach GCSE Maths and English with each lesson being an hour and a half long. My lessons will involve reviewing any previous work and gaps in the student's knowledge. Then we work through content and build on the foundations to achieve the best grades. My lessons are interactive with the ability to ask questions and be questioned throughout, pushing the student to succeed in a balanced challenging yet supportive environment. We would work through concepts and examples before trying questions/work independently to be reviewed with useful, constructive feedback immediately.
